Ark Licht / Mracek uses the highest quality commercially available chips in the D-Series. These premium chips ensure that the light is vivid, efficient, natural and consistent.
Natural Light
D-Series luminaires produce white light with a full colour spectrum similar to that of the sun, resulting in a very natural, accurate and comfortable environment.
Wavelengths between 380 - 400nm (Ultraviolet) & 700 - 780nm (Infrared) are produced with minimal intensity, both eliminating harmful light and saving energy. The visible colour spectrum for humans is about 400 - 700nm.

Vivid Colours
CIE 13.3-1995 (CRI): The standard for measuring colour rendering since 1965 and the most widely adopted standard in the industry, representing 15 common colours rated on a scale up to 100 (an ideal and accurate representation), with no lower limit.
Ark Licht / Mracek's Ultra High Colour Rendering Index (CRI) ensures that the colours in your space appear vibrant and natural.
R9 (deep red) is the most critical colour as it is responsible for the accurate appearance of skin tones as well as most natural objects. It is also the most difficult colour for any LED light source to render.

Passive Heat Control
The heatsink is one of the most important components responsible for ensuring a long and reliable life of the light. Carefully designed using Computational Fluid Dynamic analysis to passively draw as much heat away from the COB while maintaining the smallest form factor. Constructed from Die Cast Aluminium for it's superior thermal and mechanical properties.

Grouping
Recessed lights can be configured to include up to 4 luminaires/driver, resulting in a simplified installation and up to 8% in price savings.
IMPORTANT: The maximum distance between the driver and the luminaire should not exceed 2m.
Never connect less than the specified amount of luminaires. For example, if you purchase 4 luminaires/driver, never connect the driver to electricity if there are less than 4 luminaires connected to the driver. This will result in an overload and may destroy the luminaires and/or driver.
